Home Kit

Long
sleeves
only

The long sleeved, crew-neck shirts introduced the previous season were worn. However, photographs also show Oxford wearing the Butka v-necks with short sleeves, these were worn for the pre-season press photocall and during the early part of the season.

Away Kits

The 1964 away kit has proved very elusive to document accurately.

At Halifax, Oxford inexplicably wore the Red/White strip.

I have seen match records that state Oxford United wore white shirts and blue shorts at Newport County. However the shirt styling has yet to be verified, so this has been illustrated with the club's old Bukta white shirts. However, it is quite plausible that they borrowed this kit, as neither the gold nor the red away shirts were suitable against Newport.
