Home Kit

Long
sleeves
only

Photos from 1964 season shows the players back in short sleeves and v-necks. A subtle change to the collar 'v' suggests that these shirts were different to those worn during the early sixties.

The long sleeved Bukta shirts introduced the previous season were also worn during the season.

Away Kit

The 1964 away kit has proved very elusive to document accurately.

I have seen match records that state Oxford United wore white shirts and blue shorts at Newport County. However the shirt styling has yet to be verified.

It is quite possible that the old white shirts with black trim were worn, or even that a change kit was borrowed from another team.
