Kit Manufacturer

Umbro's diamond logo appeared on a handful of shorts, a prelude to the 1974 season where the kit manufacturer logo would be visible on all shirts and shorts.

Home Kit

sleeves

The shirt style remained unchanged from 1972, but a club crest made a welcome return - the first appearance since the mid-1950s.

The shorts were a lighter shade of yellow compared to the shirts. They were made from a polyamide nylon fabric, giving them a shiny appearance that would become standard for several decades.

Away Kits

A sash shirt reminiscent of the classic shirts of Crystal Palace was worn as the away kit.

However, at Luton, the plain white round-necks made a return, this time paired with white shorts.

Goalkeeper JerseyS

Both plain shirts and those featuring the club crest along with the Umbro motif were worn.
