With a new conference league sponsor, match shirts now featured Blue Square competition sleeve patches.

The shirt design was identical to the later issued shirts of the previous season.

All kits featured a new design of sock, featuring two twin hoops and the initials OUFC sewn within the sock fabric.

Away Kit & Variations

Long

A smart royal blue change strip was introduced, which worked well with the numerous variations of white and royal blue shorts and socks.

Third Colours

The white change kit used the previous season became the third choice kit and also saw several subtle changes.

The yellow ‘V’ in the collar was changed to navy and the new design of hooped socks was used.

Prototypes

A slightly different version of the blue shirt had been considered for 2007.

It featured more elements of white trim, and was more closely aligned to the home shirt template seen in 2008.

There was also a white shirt considered. This template was seen worn by pro clubs such as Blackpool and Oldham, although it has to be said, theirs looked far more striking in bolder and contrasting colours.
