Oxford United moved to Avec as their kit provider. However, in reality, the kit supply agreement continued with Just Sports, who had also supplied the Nike kits over the previous five years.
With the arrival of a new board of directors, a wave of new sponsors was announced just a week before the season began. All three sponsors were associated with the incoming chairman, Darryl Eales.
This marked the first time that both the home and away shirts featured entirely different sponsors. Sports tyre supplier Black ‘n’ Rounds became the sponsor for the home shirt, while CWP Plastics took the position as the back-of-shirt sponsor.
Prostate Cancer UK's 'Man of Men' symbol began to feature on each numeral.
The Skybet competition sleeve patches remained unchanged.

The Avec strip saw a return to Oxford’s traditional yellow shirts, which featured a navy chest band.
There were no long-sleeved shirts, base layers made by ‘Sub’ were provided.

The purple shirt used in 2013 proved a hit with the fans, so once again purple featured in the change strip, albeit less prominently. Pleasingly, this kit mirrored the same template as the home kit.
Isinglass continued as the change shirt sponsor, with a larger and slightly modified (squashed) logo, to fit within the constraints of the shirt chest band.
For the first time, the back-of-shirt sponsor on the change shirt was different, with Process Systems International featured just above the players' names.
The two goalkeeper shirt colours featured both sponsor variations.
In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War, the Football Association and the Royal British Legion launched the ‘Football Remembers’ campaign. This initiative included a special commemorative poppy logo accompanied by text, which was supplied to all professional clubs.
Oxford United’s poppy shirts were worn for the FA Cup fixture at Grimsby Town and later auctioned to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.
