Kit Manufacturer

All garments were non-branded and bespoke to Oxford United, with production and retailing overseen by the club.

EFL Branding

After ten years, this was the final season for this specific style of Football League numbering and lettering. Oxford United opted to change their number colour to black; however, I personally prefer the blue.

The Skybet competition sleeve patches remained unchanged.

Home Kit & Away Variations

Initially, the club stated that the classic Minoan Ox Head badge would feature for just this anniversary season. However, an opinion poll showed overwhelming support for reinstating the simple Minoan Ox as the club's official badge. Pleasingly the club listened.

Away Kit & Variations

The change kit mimicked the popular 'AC Milan' inspired colours worn during the mid-1990s. This was a clear favourite of the ‘away’ shirts during the social media campaign to gauge fan's favourite former kits.

Pleasingly, the design template was identical to the first-choice kit.

TEMPORARY Goalkeeper Kits

The new goalkeeper shirts were not ready for the start of the season.

Initially, a short-sleeved Sondico shirt was paired with the new shorts and socks.

Whilst at Brentford, old Avec jersey and shorts were paired with the new away socks.

Goalkeeper Kits

The new shirts featured from match four.

Remembrance Shirts

The 2015 remembrance weekend again saw teams across the country wearing commemorative poppy shirts. Once again, Oxford United had an away fixture, with the match shirts sold at auction to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

FA Cup Shirts

Starting from the third round of the FA Cup, clubs were given competition sleeve badges to wear. This was a notable change, as the insignia had previously only been reserved for teams that reached the FA Cup Final.

Shirts featuring FA Cup badges were worn for the televised third-round match against Swansea. Interestingly, these shirts did not feature for the fourth-round tie versus Blackburn Rovers.

LEAGUE Trophy Final

Oxford United wore a new variation of their shirts and shorts for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final. The shirts looked ever so slightly different, with the navy band in the V-neck wider than earlier issued garments.

The shirts featured commemorative text under the club badge and Johnstone's Paint Trophy competition sleeve patches.

For the first time, the shirts sported the logo of 'Starter', an American-based sports clothing company that became involved with the club's retail operation.

Oxford United secured additional sponsorship on the rear shorts, with former club sponsors Buildbase showing their support for the Wembley final.
