With the arrival of new chairman Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth (and his previous Reading FC connections), there was little surprise when Puma was announced as Oxford United's new kit supplier.
Thailand's Singha beer became the new main shirt sponsor.
Polythene UK continued as the back-of-shirt sponsor, although their logo was much smaller than in previous years. IT company LAN3 were the new back-of-shorts sponsor.
Mental health charity 'Mind' was the EFL's new charity partner, with their logo featuring on an updated number.
The 'squiggle' part of the Mind logo was attached to the first letter of each player's name.
The sleeve patches were refreshed with an updated Skybet logo. The left sleeve differed, featuring an initiative which supported responsible gambling.

The club opted for an all-yellow home strip. This 'home' variation was last seen in 2012/13.
Whilst the yellow and blue color combination was unique to Oxford United, the retro-style collars and sleeve detailing were reminiscent of Puma kits commonly seen among other professional clubs.
Under 18 players were required to wear shirts that did not feature either the Singha beer logo or the Skybet competition sleeve patches.

The smart away kit was simply a colour reversal of the home kit. The very dark navy had slight hints of purple, the colour was called 'Peacoat' by Puma.
During the close season, Oxford United requested a home fixture to coincide with the club's 125th anniversary date. To celebrate this milestone, the U's donned a special one-off kit.
An off-the-shelf Puma strip was chosen to represent the club's Headington United era and featured the Headington United crest from 1949 - the year that the club turned professional.
To enhance the retro feel, the kit excluded the 2018 sponsors' logos, although the mandatory EFL numbers and sleeve patches were still present.
Additionally, the shirts featured commemorative "125th Anniversary" text embroidered in the bottom right corner. A limited edition of 125 unique shirts was produced for fans to purchase, with each shirt showcasing an embroidered year ranging from 1893 to 2018.
For the first time, Oxford United wore shirts featuring League Cup competition sleeve patches.
The match was against Carabao Cup holders and Premier League champions Manchester City, with the club commissioning specially embroidered shirts.

In 2018, the FA launched a new initiative aimed at helping clubs enhance their finances. As part of this initiative, clubs participating in FA Cup matches were required to display a single FA Cup competition patch on the right sleeve of their shirts. This new rule allowed each club the opportunity to secure additional sponsorship on the left sleeve. However, Oxford United did not manage to secure any sponsors for this sleeve during the season.
The first FA Cup fixture coincided with the remembrance weekend, but for this season, there were no 'poppy' shirts. Instead, black armbands with the poppy motif were worn.
